History
After
a raging flood on the Naugatuck river virtually
destroyed the plant in 1955, the company, now
The Platt Brothers and Company, erected a modern
manufacturing facility at the current location.
Dedicated to meeting the demands of the markets
for deep drawn metal components, our company has
continuously purchased new machinery and equipment,
increased production capacity, and implemented
on-going research and development, training and
quality assurance programs.
The
years of experience have seen us enter such diversified
markets as lighting accessories, communications,
aerospace, sensing devices, control valves, primary
and after-market automotive components, and electronics.
The Platt family tradition of always being ready
to meet the changing and challenging needs of
our customers continues into the new century.
Our present and future customers are our highest
